Cod: 22-inch minimum size, 10-fish bag limit; open year-round

Tautog: 16-inch minimum size; open 4/15 – 5/31 and 8/1 – 10/14 at a three-fish per person, per day bag limit, up to a vessel maximum of 10 total fish. From 10/15 to 12/15, the individual, private recreational bag limit is six fish per person, per day, up to a vessel maximum of 10 total fish. For party and charter boats, all the same provisions apply, except that there is no vessel limit (number of passengers times bag limit).

Black Sea Bass: 13-inch minimum size, 12-fish bag limit; open 7/11 – 12/31

Bluefish: No minimum size, 10-fish bag limit. open year-round.

Pollock: 19-inch minimum size, no bag limit; open year-round

Scup/Porgy: 10.5-inch minimum size, 10-fish bag limit; open 5/24 – 9/26 for private recreational anglers. Party and Charter boats: 11-inch minimum size; 10-fish bag limit 6/8 – 9/6; 40-fish bag limit 9/7 – 10/11

Striped Bass: 28-inch minimum size, two-fish bag limit; open year-round

Fluke: 18.5-inch minimum size, 7-fish limit; open 5/1 – 12/31

Weakfish: 16-inch minimum size, one-fish limit; open year-round

Winter Flounder: 12-inch minimum size, two-fish bag limit; open 4/23 – 5/22 and 9/24 – 10/23. The harvesting or possession of winter flounder is prohibited in Narragansett Bay north of the lines from South Ferry Rd. in Narragansett to Fort Getty; Fort Wetherill to Fort Adams; and Sandy Point to High Hill Point, and in Point Judith Salt Pond.
