Ocean House Marina opened its doors over thirty years ago in 1983. Over the years, the business has been built into a highly recognized, employee focused, community oriented organization.

To say that we are still a small family business would be an understatement.  Since its inception in ’83, Ocean House Marina and our crew have grown tremendously in size and knowledge.  We have become a certified Yamaha dealership and service over 750 outboards every year.  Our mechanics have become Yamaha Certified Master Mechanics, a title that is only received after hours of rigorous training and testing that renders them the best in the country.  They are the reason we have earned us Yamaha’s Best in Class time and time again; an award that which top ranked dealers are chosen based on sales leadership, customer service, technical training, facilities and outstanding representation of the Yamaha Brand. High demand for their services and expertise demanded a state-of-the-art-rigging facility that we built seven years ago. It has afforded us the ability to be prepared to service, rig, and detail every boat that comes into our yards to a caliber that is difficult to beat. Matched by our top tier customer experience, our dedication to the best practices in the business have earned us Boating Industry’s top honor: Top 100 Dealers in North America.  This award is the only independent ranking of Boat Dealers and recognizes a dealer’s business operations, professionalism, marketing tactics, customer service, and more.  These notations of our excellence in our industry are ones we could not have accomplished alone.

 “It takes a village.” Without our team behind the scenes, and our loyal customers who are a part of this family, such success would not be possible. We are so grateful to have dedicated employees that love and care about this place as much as we do. Many of the faces here at the marina have been here for at least a decade. Some of our veterans have even been here since they were in high school – now they have children of their own in college. There is something so special about having a crew like ours to count on.  We treat each other like family which results in our high employee retention rate. Their tenure has created a level of industry expertise that is unmatched and every award and accolade is every bit theirs as much as it is ours. We are extraordinarily proud of them and their dedication to our home here on the pond. 

All in all, “we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” Ocean House Marina holds true to this quote. We find the utmost importance in giving back and supporting a multitude of goodwill ventures throughout the entirety of the year. We take great pleasure in being a community oriented organization, especially within our home of South County, Rhode Island.

With a hometown, intimate feeling, we are devoted to providing personal and exceptional experiences for our boating family.
