Regulator’s New 37: Feature Filled for Fishing & Cruising

Experienced boaters know the Regulator Marine line–they make beautiful center-console fishing boats that can go deep out to the Atlantic canyons, yet still have all the creature comforts and performance enhancements for fun and comfortable shoreline cruising.

This spring, Regulator debuted its new 37-footer to its line.  This model is aimed at boaters looking for a bigger boat filled with the same top-quality features found in Regulator’s larger vessels, and with the same comfortable ride.

The new Regulator 37 is designed around a new raised-deck helm seating and tackle center, a big-boat pump and machinery room and the company’s own proprietary MyHelm electronic control and technology system that puts the boats key functions at fingertip control through an easy touchscreen monitor combined with a wireless key fob for quick control.

Regulator has included its new E-Series seating and tackle center on a raised deck, with triple helm seating and an aft-facing bench, with tackle storage units port and starboard and six rod holders built into the aft support frame. Options include an electric grill and a flush-mount refrigerator.

Lift up the aft bench and you’ll find an illuminated pump room with access to the fuel tanks and other systems and space for the optional Seakeeper 5 stabilization system.  Those fuel tanks, by the way, carry up to 507 gallons of fuel–more than enough for a long run to the deeps and back.

Every Regulator is made for fishing, and the new 37 includes two aft in-deck fish boxes, a double-hatch box on the transom, two 33-gallon livewells, air conditioned carpeted rod lockers inside the console and three insulated forward fish boxes.

Creature comforts are plenty on board this beauty. Down in the console there are sleeping accommodations for two, a galley with fridge, microwave, sink and storage, air condition and a skylight. The standup head includes an electric head unit, sink with hot water, hot water shower and towel rack.

Ample cruising power comes from the triple white Yamaha 425 XTOs.  These are electronically controlled with the Helm Master EX, a joystick and EX autopilot.  There are dual factory-installed 22-inch Garmin displays, VHF, open-array radar and a Fusion stereo system, along with a 9kW Onan diesel generator.

With all these bells and whistles, and a lot more, the Regulator 37 will become your favorite fishing machine while the family will love cruising the coasts. This one may be the best of all worlds!
