Season of Thanks 2021

Dear Ocean House Marina Customers,

As we enter the Holiday season, myself and the entire staff at Ocean House Marina want to express our thanks for your continued business and loyalty. This Thanksgiving, I’m adding a special note of thanks.

Over the last thirty-nine years, I’ve written many letters to our customers sharing our company growth and thanking you for your business. I’m excited to say that this will be my last letter, as I’ve decided to retire and turn over the reins to my son Jonathan.

Jonathan joined Pam and I back in December of 1982 when we purchased the business with my dad. Jon was only a year old, but soon became immersed in our family business. Now, at forty years old, he’s more than prepared to lead the business into the future. Jon has the support of our great staff of employees. He’s also joined by his wife, Anna, who has contributed so much to the business already.

On behalf of Pam and myself, we’d like to thank you for your past business and support. It has been a fantastic journey and we wouldn’t have accomplished so much without you and our family of employees, both past and present.

Thirty-nine years ago, we started out with a small marina, snack bar, bait and tackle shop, a half-dozen rental boats, and two rental cabins. I’m proud to see what we’ve accomplished along the way. Today, we’re at the point where we need to turn work away in order to best serve our current customers. Rest assured, we’re working very hard to meet the current business challenges.

Although I’ve vacated my office as of November 1st, I’ll remain behind the scenes to assist where needed. I hope to remain busy in the community and hope our paths cross often. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for a fantastic journey.

Best regards,
Rob Lyons
