John’s journey with Ocean House Marina began in 2016, shortly after completing the Marina Technology program at the New England Institute of Technology. Over the past six years, he has diligently pursued his Master Technician classes, demonstrating unwavering commitment to his craft.
Yamaha’s certification process is rigorous, with only approximately 30 technicians out of hundreds of applicants passing the exam annually. Gregg Snyder, Marine Training Department Manager at Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit, emphasized the significance of this accomplishment, stating, “Those who receive Yamaha Master Technician certification are among an elite group of highly skilled marine technicians who achieve the highest levels of expertise within Yamaha’s core technical competencies.
